Refit/Accommodation Barge (Ex-Navy)
A three level structure built atop a concrete barge. Barge floor: workshops, store rooms, sewage compartment, office. Second floor: locker rooms, showers, toilets, lounge space. Top floor: offices, conference room, work station area.
Formerly used as a floating workshop, warehouse, storeroom and office. Vessel contains all functional purpose built facilities required to refit vessels and is a self contained unit comprising a free floating pre-stressed concrete wharf pontoon housing the lower deck which contains its own holding tanks (black water), main workshop including large machining lathe, storage cages, extensive common work areas with adjoining offices. A middle deck contains offices and mess facilities with some accommodation and ablution facilities.
